Valentine bear.

This bear is made in a little different way. Hope you like it.
I will start making all body-parts at once and put them together later.

You will also need filter Eye Candy.
In the zip here, I have included the rose and the fourleaf-clover.
Zip them up in your PSP Image Folder.

This is what you will have now. Can we really make a bear out of these parts?
Of course we can. I will show you.

Take the Mover and drag the three toes down a bit. Put them together like this.
The middle toe must be placed a little higher up.

Drag the foot down to the toes. Image, Rotate as below.

Put the foot close to the toes like this.

Close all layers except the toes and foot layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Foot.

Layers, View all.

Drag down the body to the middle of the canvas. Image, Rotate, right 36.

Drag down the upperarm. No rotating. Drag down the lowerarm. Image, Rotate, left 45.
Drag down the paw. No rotating. Put the parts together like this.

Close all layers except these arm and paw layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Arm.

Duplicate the Arm Layer and drag this layer under Layer Body in your Layer Palette.
Image. Rotate, right 28. Put the parts together like this.

Layers, View all.

Drag down the upperleg. Image, Rotate, right 60.
Drag down the lowerleg. Image, Rotate, left 36. Put the leg parts together like this.

Close all layers except those two legs layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Leg.

Put the parts together like this now. Do not Merge yet.

Drag down the head. Drag down the ear and innerear.
Duplicate Layer Ear. Drag it under Layer Head in your Layer Palette.
Duplicate Layer Innerear also and drag it under Layer head.
Put the ear parts on the head like this.

Drag down the chin. Image, Rotate, right 10. Place it on the head like this.

Drag down the eye. Put it just above the chin. Effects, Inner Bevel, Round.
Duplicate the eye. Image, Rotate, right 10 and put it in place also.

Drag down the muzzle. Image. Rotate, left 30.
Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put the two muzzles in place.

Drag down the nose and put it in place. Effects, 3D, Inner Bevel, Round, set the width to 4.

Stand on Layer Copy of Muzzle. New Layer. Call it Dots. Make three dots 2 x 2.
Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Color  #9C753D on both Fore- and Background.
Duplicate and place them on the other muzzle.

New Layer.  Draw1, Antialias checked. Make a small line from the nose and down.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Foreground, black color. Background closed.
Make an ellipse 18 x 12. Place it under the line you just made. Selection Tool. Mark the upper part.

Delete. Deselect.

Close all layers, except those two mouth layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Mouth.

Layers, View all. This is what we will have now.

Now we will make the fur.
Stand on Layer Foot. Magic Wand. Click inside your picture.
Selections, Invert. Eye Candy, Swirl as below.

Selections, Modify, Expand by 2. Eye Candy, Jiggle as below.

Deselect. Retouch Tool, Smudge as below. Choose size between 3 - 5.

Make tiny strokes just at the outer edges.

Now you have to do the same procedure for every layer with fur.
Meaning arms, body, legs, head, ears, innerears, chin and muzzles.
When you are done the bear might look like this.

I would like the arms and legs to show a little better. Stand on Layer Arm. Colors, Adjust
Brightness/Contrast. Set Brightness to -6, Contrast -5.
Stand on Layer Copy of Arm and do the same.
Stand on Layer Leg and do the same. Stand on Layer Foot and do the same.

Stand on Layer Foot. Duplicate. Image, Rotate, left 70.

Close Layers Background and Layer Copy of Foot.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Bear.

Stand on Layer Background. New Layer. Call it Heart. Preset Shapes, heart.
Foreground, color #C5093E. Background closed.

Make the heart 375 x 310.
Place the bear at the bottom, inside the heart.

Drag layer Copy of Foot under Layer Heart in your Layer Palette.
Make the foot show a little under the heart.

Now you have to decorate the heart also. I'm sure you have some nice flowers to use
or you can use my flower if you like. You have to duplicate the flower a lot of times.
Place them on the heart. Take Image, Mirror on some. Image Flip on some.
Just to make them a little different from eachother.

Get the Fourleaf-clover you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it on the hand of the bear.

If you would like him to have a wreth on his head. Copy the clover five times and
place them on the bears head.

Close all Layers except those clover layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Wreth.

Take a look at your picture now. Are you satisfied with what you see?
If you want to change anything, do so now. If you would like to add a text, do so now.

Stand on Layer Background. Delete. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
