Snowman with earmuffs.
It is a little cold today. I have better
keep my ears warm. Start with a New Image, 220 x 270,
transp, 16 mill.
Deselect. New Vector Layer. Call it Nose. Preset
Shapes, Triangle, Create as vector.
Click at Object Selector
Now the nose will look like this.
Double click on one node. Now all nodes will be selected.
Right click on one node and this will come up.
Choose, Node Type, Symmetric. It will now look like this.
Left click outside the nose and it will look like this.
Right click on the left node, (the tip of the nose) and an
arrow shows.
Click with your left mouse button. Hold it down while you
Right click and Quit node editing. Left click inside your picture.
Right click on the nose layer in your Layer Palette.
New Layer. Call it Eye. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Black
color on both Fore-
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Black color on
Foreground.
Delete and you will have a nice small eyebrow. Deselect.
Close Layers, Head and Nose. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Stand on Layer Head. New Layer. Call it Mouth. Preset
Shapes, Ellipse.
Delete and you will have the mouth. Deselect.
Stand on Layer Head in your Layer Palette.
Stand on Layer Nose. Retouch Tool, Darken RGB.
Make some small lines on the nose like this.
Selections, Select all, Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
Stand on layer Copy of eye. Airbrush 2. White color. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Head.
New Layer. Call it Earmuff. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Color

Effects, Texture, Fur as below.
Retouch, Smudge as below.
Smudge the earmuff to look like a fur-ball.
Duplicate and put it at the snowmans other ear.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Line width 5. Color
black on
Effects, 3D, Inner Bevel. Settings like this.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Head.
New Vector Layer. Call it Scarf1. Preset Shapes, Rounded
Rectangle.
New Vector Layer. Call it Scarf2. The same settings and
procedure.
Left click.
New Vector Layer. Call it Scarf3. The same settings and
procedure.
Left click.
Put the scarf pieces together with your Mover.
Flood fill. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect,
Stand on Layer Scarf2. Right click in your Layer Palette. Deselect.
Stand on Layer Scarf3. Right click in your Layer Palette.
Get the bird you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a
New Layer. Layers Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
When you will use the picture, you can add a Drop
Shadow if you like.
