Christmas reindeer.

Have you seen Santas reindeer? Well, here he is.

Get my selections here and zip them up in your PSP Selections folder.
The zip also includes some accessories. Zip them up in your PSP Image folder.

Start with a New Image, 275 x 300, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Sign. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, sign.sel.
Set Foreground to Pattern.

Look for pattern Drift wood. Set scale to 50.

Flood Fill the pattern.

 Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the text you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it on top of the sign. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Sign.

New Layer. Call it Wrethshape. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, wrethshape.sel.
Flood fill with color #47581D. Deselect. This is just a shape to see
where you will put all the branches. You will cover it completly.

Get the branch you got in the zip. Copy and Paste as many as you'll need.
Place them on the wrethshape. You have to take Image, Flip on some.
Image, Mirror on some. Use Deformation tool when you want to turn them.
I have used 30 branches on my wreth.

When you are satisfied with the looks, close layer Sign. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Call it Wreth. Make sure the branches won't cover the sign.
Make them fit together.

New Layer. Call it Strings. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, strings.sel.
Flood fill with color #844508. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Horns. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, horns.sel.
Flood fill with color #F5F5ED.  Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Ears. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, ears.sel.
Flood fill with color #957068. Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, head.sel.
Flood fill with color #AF8A81. Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Call it Face. Place it on the head.

New Layer. Call it Nose. Selections, Load from disk, reindeer, nose.sel.
Flood fill with color #8B796F. Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Make sure the eyes is just above the nose.

Close Layers Sign, Wreth and Strings. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Call the layer Head.

Get the bow you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it under the chin.

Get the acorn you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it on the wreth. Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Place it on the wreth.
If you place it like I did, be sure to drag the right acorn layer
under layer Head in your Layer Palette.

Get the candystick you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it on the wreth. Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Place it on the wreth.

Go through your picture, if you want to change anything, do so now.
When you like what you see, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
