Red clover.

This is how I make a red clover.

Save often!

New Image, 400 x 400, transp, 16 mill. New Layer.
Color #BD6D84 on both Fore- and Background. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Make an oval 65 x 85.

New Layer. Color #D05170 on Foreground, solid. Background, Gradient. Color #F27CA3.

Make an oval 9 x 20. Retouch Tool, Smudge as below.

Smudge a little from the darker color to the brighter.

Sharpen once.

Now you have to make lots of ovals to cover the first ellipse you made.
Make the ovals on separate layers, so you can move them around.
Start with the petals at the bottom all over the flower. Then put the petals all over the flower.
You can take Duplicate and Image, Mirror on the petals if you like.
You also have to use Deformation Tool to turn the petals to the left and right.
Make some petals in a different size also and put them in here and there.

When you are satisfied with the looks,
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Flower. Effects, Sharpen once.
That was the flower. To get more flowers, duplicate or resize it as you like.

Now to the leaves.

New Layer. Preset Shapes, Teardrop. Foreground color  #375F07, solid fill.
Background color #6A9F4F. Background, Gradient fill.

Make the leaf 33 x 96. Image, Rotate.

Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Rotate, left 5.

Put the two leaf-parts together like this.

Close layer Flower, Merge, Merge Visible to the rest.
Retouch tool, Smudge. Smudge a little on the line at the arrow.

Make a thin line with Draw tool, Freehand 1. Antialias checked. Background closed.

Duplicate this layer, two times. Image, Flip on one leaf and Image,
Rotate, right 90 on the other leaf.  Put them together like this.

New Layer. Make a stalk with Draw, Freehand 4.
Layer, Arrange, Send to bottom. Keep layer Flower closed.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to the rest. Call it Leaf.

You can also use Smudge on your leaf. Same settings as before. Then it might look like this.

You can make a new leaf with the colors Invert, also with Smudge. Then it might look like this.

New Layer. The same green colors  you used on the leaves.
Preset Shapes, Teardrop. Make the leaf 9 x 45. Image. Rotate 60, left.
Put it under the flower. Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put it in place.
New Layer. Make the leaf 9 x 30. Image, Rotate, right 25. Duplicate, Mirror and put in place.

If you like, you can also use a little Smudge on those leaves as well.

New Layer. Draw, Freehand 5. Background closed. Make a stalk to the flower.

Close Layer Leaf and Layer Flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.

If you like a Cutout like I have, use these settings.
Take the same on the leaves, but use dark green color.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the flower. Click inside it. Effects, 3D, Cutout.

Now it is time to arrange your picture. I did it like this.

You can easily arrange the clovers with other summerflowers.

Hope you liked my tutorial.
