Monkey.
This little monkey is ready to give you some
fun.
Get the Selections here and zip them up into your PSP, Selections folder.
Start with a New Image, 250 x 300, transp,
16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Ear2. Selections, Load from disk, monkey, ear2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #BA9D70. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Innerear2. Selections, Load from disk,
innerear2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #9E8053. Deselect. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it
Ear2.
New Layer. Call it Backleg2. Selections, Load from disk,
backleg2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7C623A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Tail. Selections, Load from disk,
tail.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7C623A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Arm2. Selections, Load from disk,
arm2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #89714B. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Innerarm2. Selections, Load from disk,
innerarm2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7C623A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Fingers. Selections, Load from disk,
fingers.sel.
Flood Fill with color #89714B. Deselect.
Close all layers except layer Arm2,
Innerarm2 and Fingers.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Arm2.
New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk,
body.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7C623A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Bodyshadow. Selections, Load from disk,
bodyshadow.sel.
Flood Fill with color #6B593D. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Belly. Selections, Load from disk,
belly.sel.
Flood Fill with color #D8C5A8. Deselect.
Close all layers except layer Body,
Bodyshadow and Belly.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Call it Head1. Selections, Load from disk,
head1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #D8C5A8. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Cheeks. Selections, Load from disk,
cheeks.sel.
Flood Fill with color #E4B09A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Head2. Selections, Load from disk,
head2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #BA9D70. Deselect.
This is what you will have now.
New Layer. Call it Headtop. Selections, Load from disk,
headtop.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7C623A. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Rim. Selections, Load from disk,
rim.sel.
Flood Fill with color #5C4207. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Whiteeyes. Selections, Load from disk,
whiteeyes.sel.
Flood Fill with color #A1A19F. Selections, Modify, Contract1.
Fill with white color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Faceblack. Selections, Load from disk,
faceblack.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. When you fill the eyes, you can use Airbrush15,
just to fill the eyes better. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Reflections. Selections, Load from disk,
reflections.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eyelash. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse, Background closed. Black color.
Make an ellipse about 9 x 14. Turn it a bit with Deformation Tool.
Freehand Tool. Mark what you will delete.
Delete. Now you have to duplicate this
layer two times.
Turn the lashes with Deformation Tool an put them together like this.
Close all other layers except these three
eyelash-layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Effects, Sharpen once. Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put the lashes in place on the
other eye.
This is what you will have now.
New Layer. Call it Ear1. Selections, Load from disk, ear1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #BA9D70. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Innerear1. Selections, Load from disk,
innerear1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #9E8053. Deselect.
Close layers, Ear2, Backleg2, Tail, Arm2 and Body. Layers Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Head.
New Layer. Call it Leg+arm. Selections, Load from disk,
leg+arm.sel.
Flood Fill with color #A08356. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Leg+armshadow. Selections, Load from disk,
l+ashadow.sel.
Flood Fill with color #886E46. Deselect.
Close all layers except layers Leg+arm and
Leg+armshadow.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Legs.
New Layer. Call it Hair. Draw Tool 4.
Freehand Line. Color #9E845A.
Background closed. Antialias checked. Make the hair like this.
New Layer. Call it Lines1.
Color #775530. Close Background.
Make fine lines on the same places I did.
New Layer. Call it Lines2. Color #694F2D.
Make lines on the head and arm like this.
Stand on Layer Hair. Layers, Arrange, Bring to top.
Make all your layers Visible.
If you think the lines are to strong, lower the Opacity to your liking.
I lowered my lines to 80.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done!
