Knitting.

New Image 300 x 300, transp, 16 mill. New
Layer. Call it Knitting-needle.
Draw, Single line 4. Antialias checked. Color #C0C0C0.
Make a diagonal line 105 x 100.

Effects, Inner Bevel. Settings as below.

New Layer. Call it Ball. Preset Shapes,
Circle 12 x 12. Put the ball at the end of the knitting-needle.
Effects, Inner Bevel, the same settings as before. Layers, Merge Visible. Call
it Knitting-needle.
Duplicate, Image, Mirror.
New Layer. Call it Fabric. Draw, Single Line 4. Make the fabric like I did. Use the color you like.

New Layer. Call it Stitches. Make stitches
on one side, with the same color.
Use Draw 4, Single line. Antialias checked.

Duplicate and put those stitches on the other side.
Close the two Knitting-needles layers. Layers, Merge Visible. Call it Fabric.
New Layer. Call it Lines. Choose a darker
shade of your color. Draw, Single Line 4. View, Grid.
Zoom the picture. Make some horizontal lines. Use the Grid lines to make your
lines straight.
Close Grid. Effects, Geometric, Wave as below.

Stand on Layer Fabric. Magic Wand. Click at
a corner of your picture. Keep it selected.
Go back to Layer Lines. Delete. Deselect. Now the edges looks nice.
Keep the Knitting-needles closed. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Fabric.
New Layer. Call it Lining. Preset
Shapes, Rounded rectangle. The same color on both Fore- and Background.
Make a rectangle 160 x 25. Effects, Blinds as below.

Place the lining at the bottom of the fabric like this.

Layers, Arrange, Send
to bottom. Keep Layers Knitting-needles closed.
Layers, Merge Visible. Call it Fabric.
New Layer. Draw, Single Line 4. Make a line from the needle and downwards. Effects, Wave, as below.

Keep the needles layers closed. Layers, Merge
Visible.
Make sure this Fabric layer is on top in your Layers Palette. Open the two
Knitting-needle Layers again.
Make sure they fit behind the stitches. If they don't, use Deformation Tool and
turn them to fit.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Now your knitting is done!
