Halloween cat.
Do you need a cat for your Halloween graphics? Try this tutorial.
Get the zip with the bow here. Save it in your PSP Image folder.
Start with a New Image, 300 x 400, transp,
16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Preset Shapes, Ellipse, black color on both Fore- and
Background.
Make the body 170 x 260. Selection tool, Ellipse. Antialias checked.
Make a selection 88 x 182. Place it with the mover like I did.
Delete. Deselect.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Mark a small selection at the lower part of the body.
Delete. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Leg. Preset Shapes,
Rounded rectangle, black color on both Fore- and Background.
Make the foot 22 x 90. Selection tool, Ellipse. Antialias checked.
Make a selection 22 x 90. Place it with the mover like I did.
Delete. Deselect.
Place the leg on the left side of the body.
Duplicate. Deformation Tool. Turn the leg and place it beside the other leg.
Duplicate this leg. Image, Mirror and put it in place at the front of the body.
Duplicate.
Deformation Tool. Turn it and put it in place beside the other front leg.
New Layer. Call it Tail. Preset Shapes,
Rounded rectangle, black color on both Fore- and Background.
Make the tail 20 x 210. Deformation Tool. Turn it a bit and put it in place.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Ellipse, black
color on both Fore- and Background.
Make an ellipse 17 x 20. Put it on top of the tail , so the tails end will be
rounded.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Mark at the ends of the legs, like this.
Delete, Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Head. Preset Shapes,
Heart1. Foreground #606366 and Background black color.
Make the head 90 x 130. Selection tool, Ellipse. Antialias checked.
Make a selection 66 x 100. Place it like I did.
Delete, Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eye. Preset
Shapes, Diamond1. Fore- and Background color #A6DD01.
Make the eye 14 x 20. New Layer. Preset Shapes. Fore- and Background black color.
Make the eye 15 x 10 Put it in place.
Close Layer Body and Head. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Eye.
Deformation Tool. Turn the eye and put it in place. Duplicate, Image, Mirror and
put the other eye in place.
New Layer. Call it Nose.
Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Fore- and Background color #656161.
Make an ellipse 12 x 9. Put it in place.
New Layer. Call it Whiskers.
Draw, Single line2. Antialias checked.
Fore- and Background color #656161. Make three lines. Put them in place.
Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Put them in place.
Close Layers Body and Head. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Face.
Now you can use the head on different
places on the body.
You can also change the face by putting it a little higer or lower on the head.
You can add a bow around his neck if you like. You got it in the zip.
Play around with the parts. When you are satisfied, take Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
