Add glitter to a picture.

If you like to add glitter or sparkles to a picture, do as follow.

Get the picture that you want to use. You can use my image if you like. Just right click and Save as..

Get the tree on to your workspace. Duplicate the layer in your Layer Palette.
Airbrush, size1. Foreground color #FEE8B4. I will also use these colors #FED92A and #7F6000.

Zoom your picture. Paint dots on the areas that you want.
Paint with the light colors on the darker areas and with the dark color on the lighter areas.

Fill your image on the two layers with dots. Since you won't paint at exactly same places,
the picture will sparkle when you animate it later on.

Make sure the two layers are open in your Layer Palette. Open Animation Shop. File, Open.
Look for the tree where you have saved it. Open it. View, Normal Viewing.



Now you will see the two layers you have made as Frames.
Click on the first frame to make it selected.
Animation, Frame Properties. Set the number to 45 or to your liking.
Click on the second Frame. Animation, Frame Properties. Set it to 60 or to your liking.
View, Animation. If you want more glitter, add dots to the frames in Animation Shop.

This is how it looks with the glitter.

For the sparkles, you do as follow.
If you like, you can add a few sparkles on some places. Do this in Paint Shop.
Follow the tutorial and add the sparkles before you use Animation Shop.
This is how I placed them and I made them small and big. Do it to your liking.

Go to Animation Shop and make the settings as mentioned above.

This is how it looks now.
