Do you want a little cookie for Christmas?
Get the candy, heart and raisin here. Zip them up in your PSP Image folder.
Start with a New Image 250 x 300, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse, antialias checked, color #9B5A2A on
both Fore- and Background.
Make an ellipse 124 x 178. Place it in the middle of your canvas.
New Layer. Call it Leg. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse, the same color.
Make an ellipse 60 x 110. Turn it to your right a bit with Deformation Tool.
Effects, Sharpen once. Place it at the bottom, under the body.
Duplicate, Image, Mirror and put the other leg in place.
New Layer. Call it Arm. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse, the same color.
Make an ellipse 55 x 100. Turn it to your right a bit with Deformation Tool.
Effects, Sharpen once. Place it at the left side of the body.
Duplicate, Image, Mirror and put the other arm in place on the right side.
New Layer. Call it Head. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse, the same color.
Make an ellipse 110 x 90. Place it on top of the body.
The parts will be placed like this.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
Effects, Texture, Fine Leather as below.

Zoom the picture. Look around if you will find any light spots.

Use Retouch Tool, Soften on those spots.
Now we will give the gingerbreadman a little color, as if he just got out from the oven.
Selections, Select all. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Icing. Airbrush2, white
color. Now you have to show your talent. :-)
Paint the man all around, like I did or of your own choice.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
Now get the raisin you got in the zip. Copy
and paste it as an eye.
Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put the eyes in place.
New Layer. Airbrush1, white color. Put one little dot on each eye.

New Layer, Preset Shapes, Ellipse, color
#7D461D on both Fore- and Background.
Make a little nose 10 x 6. Place it where you want it to be.
New Layer, Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Retain
style.
Make an ellipse 22 x 25. selection Tool, Rectangle.
Mark the part you will delete, like I did.

Delete. Put the mouth in place.
Stand on Layer Body. Magic Wand. Click at a
corner of your picture. Selections, Invert.
New Layer. Airbrush2, color #E52C01. Make some red marks on the cheeks.

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur6. Deselect.
Close Layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible to the rest. Call it Face.
Get the candy you got in the zip. Copy and
Paste it as a New Layer. Call it Cheek.
Place the candy on the cheek. Colors, Colorize. Settings like this.

That will make the candy red.
Duplicate and put the candy on the other cheek.
Copy and Paste the yellow candy another
three times. Put them on the body as buttons.
Stand on one candy and take Color, Colorize as below.

Stand on another candy and take Color, Colorize as below.

Place them with the Mover after your liking.
Close Layer, Body and Face. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Candy.
Now we are going to make a bow. He is going to be good looking, I think.
New Layer. Call it Neckband. Preset Shapes
5, color red. Background closed.
Make an ellipse 110 x 35. Freehand Tool. Mark what you will delete, like this.

Delete. Zoom the picture to see if you got
it right.
If you have to delete some more, use the Eraser.
Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

New Layer. Call it Loop. Draw, Bezier Curve
as below.
Color red. Background closed.

You just have to make three clicks to have a nice loop. Do it like this.

Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put the loops together on the neckband.
New Layer. Call it Band. Bezier Curve again.
Red color. Background closed.
Make a straight line about 0 x 80. Click at first at 1 and then at 2.

That way you will have a bent line.
Duplicate, Image Mirror. Put the bands together at the loops.
Put one band a little higer than the other. Erase the part that is too long.

Close Layers, Body, Face, Candy and
Neckband. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Bow.
Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as on Neckband.
Get the heart you got in the zip. Copy and
Paste it as a New Layer.
Place it at the end of the band of the bow.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.

Now your little Gingerbreadman is nice and
ready to meet the little Gingerbreadgirl.
