Gingerbread Mom.

I have made the selections for you.
Get them here and zip them up in your PSP, Selections folder.
The zip also includes the face and a bluecheckered pattern for the dress.
Unzip the face into your PSP, Image folder and the pattern into your PSP Pattern folder.

Start with a New Image, 180x300, transp, 16 mill.

New Layer. Call it Body. Foreground color #8D5007, Background color #B37233.
Set your Background to Gradient in your Styles box, like this.

 Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, body.sel.
Flood fill with your right mouse-button. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Head. The same colors and settings.
Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, head.sel.
Flood fill. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5. Deselect.
Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Call the layer Face. Place it with your Mover, a little low on the head.

New Layer. Call it Leg1. The same colors and settings.
Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, leg1.sel.
Flood fill. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Leg2. The same colors and settings.
Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, leg2.sel.
Flood fill. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5. Deselect.
Effects, 3D, drop Shadow. The same as on Head, but change Vertical to 0.

New Layer. Call it Petticoat. Selections, Load from disk,
gingerbreadmom, petticoat.sel. Flood fill with white color.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect. Effects, Sharpen, Sharpen More one time.

New Layer. Call it Dress. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, dress.sel.
Set your Foreground in your Styles box to Pattern. Look for the pattern you got in the zip.
Flood fill with the pattern. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Shadows. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, shadows.sel.
Flood fill with color #1C2752. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apron. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apron.sel.
Flood fill with white color.  Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apronshadow. Selections, Load from disk,
gingerbreadmom, apronshadow.sel. Flood fill with color #D3DAF5. Deselect.

This is what we will have so far.

Layers Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Mom.

New Layer. Call it Arms. The same colors and settings.
Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, arms.sel.
Flood fill with the same colors and settings as on Layer Body.
Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5. Deselect.
Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow. The same as on Leg2.

New Layer. Call it Icing. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, icing.sel.
Flood fill with white color. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Collar. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, collar.sel.
Flood fill with white color.  Selections, Float.
Effects, 3D, Cutout, the same as on Layer Apron. Deselect.
Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

New Layer. Call it Scarf. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, scarf.sel.
 Foreground  color #09277B, Background  color  #021ACC. 
Set Background to Gradient, the same settings as before. Flood fill
with your right mouse-button. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as before.
Deselect. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5.

New Layer. Call it Bow1. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, bow1.sel.
The same colors as before.  Flood fill. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as before.
Deselect. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5.

New Layer. Call it Bow2. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, bow2.sel.
The same colors as before.  Flood fill. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as before.
Deselect. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5.

New Layer. Call it Knot. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, knot.sel.
The same colors as before.  Flood fill. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as before.
Deselect. Effects, Noise, Add, Uniform 5.

Close Layers, Mom, Arms, Icing and Collar. Layers Merge, Merge Visible.
Call the layer Scarf.

This is what you will have now.

Now we will make an apple for her to hold.

Stand on Layer Mom in your Layer Palette. New Layer. Call it Apple1.
Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple1.sel.
Flood fill with color #FCF6EA. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apple2. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple2.sel.
Flood fill with color #FABCAE. Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 2. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apple3. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple3.sel.
Flood fill with color #CC3303. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apple4. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple4.sel.
Flood fill with color #FBECD3. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

 Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apple5. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple5.sel.
Flood fill with color #E9D1B9. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before,
but change color to #CAA682. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Apple6. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, apple6.sel.
Flood fill with color #CAA682. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Seeds. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, seeds.sel.
Flood fill with color #8A5624. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Close Layers, Mom, Arms, Icing, Collar and Scarf. Layers Merge, Merge Visible.
Call the layer Apple.

Stand on Layer Collar in your Layer Palette.
New Layer. Call it Stalk. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, stalk.sel.
Flood fill with color #989C6C. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Leaves. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, leaves.sel.
Flood fill with color #748E63. Selections, Modify, Contract 1. Flood fill with color
#A7C393. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Lines. Selections, Load from disk, gingerbreadmom, lines.sel.
Flood fill with color #748E63.  Deselect.

Close layers, Mom, Apple, Arms, Icing, Collar and Scarf.
Layers Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Leaves.

Layers Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Mom.

Now your gingerbread mom is done.
