Friendly ghost.
Do you need a friendly ghost?
Get my Selections here and zip them up in
your PSP Selections folder.
The zip also includes the face, pumpkin and bow. Zip them up in your PSP Image
folder.
Start with a New Image, 350 x 400, transp,
16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk, ghost, body.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F0ECEC, Selections, Modify, Contract by2.
Flood Fill with white color. Keep it selected.
New Layer. Airbrush2, color #9D9EB9. Make
some shadow-lines like this.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur11. Deselect. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Call it Arms. Selections, Load from disk, ghost,
arms.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F0ECEC, Selections, Modify, Contract by2.
Flood Fill with white color. Keep it selected.
New Layer. Airbrush2, color #9D9EB9. Make
some shadow-lines like this.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur11. Deselect.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Arms.
Close Layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Call it Arms.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the
arms. Click inside.
Selections, Contract by 2. New Layer. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.
Selection Tool, Freehand Tool. Now you have
to mark what you will delete.
Be sure you stand on the shadow layer. You will only keep the shadow inside the
arms.
Mark one arm first, then keep Shift down while you mark on the other arm. Delete.
Close Layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Arms.
New Layer. Call it Collar. Selections, Load from disk, ghost,
collar.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.
Get the bow you got in the zip. Copy and
Paste it as a New Layer.
Call it Bow. Place it on the collar.
Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and
Paste it as a New Layer.
Call it Face. Place it on the head.
Close Layer Arms. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
Stand on Layer Body. Get the pumpkin you
got in the zip, or something else, for the ghost to hold.
Copy and Paste as a New Layer. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Now your spooky friend is ready for Halloween.
