This picture is made with vectors. It is very easy. Why don't you try it?

Start with a New Image 250 x 250, transp, 16 mill. New Vector Layer. Call it Leaf.
Color #22600A on Foreground and color #2FBE08 on Background.
Set your Style box To Gradient on your Background. Foreground is set to Solid.

Set your Gradients like this.

Click on Edit and make the settings like this.

Preset Shapes, Teardrop. Create as Vector checked.

Make the drop 70 x 110. Object Selector   Node Edit.
Left click on Node1.

Push the node down and pull the handles up to the left and to the right. See below.

Left click on Node2. Drag the handles like this.

Left click on Node3. Drag the handles like this.

Left click on Node4. Drag the handles up. Push the left handle to your right a bit, like this.

Right click in your picture, Quit Node Editing. Left click.

Right click in your Layers Palette, Convert to Raster Layer.

Magic Wand. Click outside the leaf. Selections, Invert.
Retouch tool, Smudge as below.

Make three tiny strokes from the bottom and up, but not all the way up. Look at the picture below.

Duplicate this layer. Image, Flip. Put the two leaves together.

Duplicate Layer Leaf1 again. Image, Rotate 90º right.

Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Put all four leaves together.



You can try Image, Mirror or Flip on the leaves if it might look better.
If you feel your leaves are to tiny, use Deformation Tool and drag them out a bit.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.

New Raster Layer. Draw, Bezier Curve4. Antialias checked.
Make a straight line from the center of the flower an diagonally down to your right.
Then click at number1 and then at number2.

Now you will have a slightly bent stalk. Layers, Arrange, Send to bottom.
Put the stalk in place with the Mover.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. You are done now and the good luck is yours!
