Doves

Get my Selections here. Zip them up in your PSP Selections Folder.
In the zip, named diverse, I also include the bow, flowers and leaves.
Zip them up in your PSP Image Folder. Look in the Layer Palette when you need them.
I have put them on separate layers.

Start with a New Image 300 x 350, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Wing1. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wing1.sel
Flood fill with color #D4CCB0. Selections, Modify, Contract by1.
Flood fill with color #F3EFDF. Selections float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Wingline1. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wingline1.sel
Flood fill with color #D3CFC1. Deselect.

Stand on Layer Wing1 again. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 2. Color #D3CFC1. Paint some on the wings, like this.

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 3. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Wing2. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wing2.sel
Flood fill with color #D4CCB0. Selections, Modify, Contract by1.
Flood fill with color #F3EFDF. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before.

New Layer. Call it Wingline2. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wingline2.sel
Flood fill with color #D3CFC1. Deselect.

Stand on Layer Wing2 again. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 2. Color #D3CFC1. Paint some on the wing, like this.

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 3. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Wing3. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wing3.sel
Flood fill with color #D4CCB0. Selections, Modify, Contract by1.
Flood fill with color #F5F2E3. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Wingline3. Selections, Load from disk, doves, wingline3.sel
Flood fill with color #D3CFC1. Deselect.

Stand on Layer Wing3 again. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 2. Color #D3CFC1. Paint some on the wing, like this.

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 3. Deselect.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Wings.

This is what you will have now.

New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk, doves, body.sel
Flood fill with color #E0E1CB. Selections, Modify, Contract by1.
Flood fill with color #F5F2E3. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Beak. Selections, Load from disk, doves, beak.sel
Flood fill with color #434343. Deselect. Effects, 3D, Inner Bevel as below.

New Layer. Call it Eyes. Selections, Load from disk, doves, eyes.sel
Flood fill with color #434343. Deselect. Effects, 3D, Inner Bevel as before.

Stand on Layer Body. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Bird.

The birds look like this now.

New Layer. Call it Sign. Selections, Load from disk, doves, sign.sel
Flood fill with color #C73029. Selections, Modify, Contract by 6.
Flood fill with color #FCF8EA. Effects, Texture Effects, Texture as below.

Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Feet. Selections, Load from disk, doves, feet.sel
Flood fill with color #52483E. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Branches. Selections, Load from disk, doves, branches.sel
Flood fill with color #52483E. Selections, Modify, Contract by 1.
Flood fill with color #7D6849. Effects, Fur as below.

Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the leaves you got in the zip. Copy and Paste them as New Layers. Place them like this.
You have to use Deformation Tool to turn the leaves and you will have to use
Image, Mirror and Image, Flip on some.

New Layer. Call it Stalks. Selections, Load from disk, doves, stalks.sel
Flood fill with color #58521F. Deselect.

Get the flowers you got in the zip. Copy and paste them as New Layers. like this.

Get the bow you got in the zip. Copy and paste it as a New Layer, like this.

If you like to add something to the sign, a text maybee, make a New Layer and do so.

Have a look at your picture. If you like to change anything, do so now.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and that was it.
