Conversation heart.

Start with a New Image 160 x 140, transp, 16 mill.

New Layer. Call it Heart. Color: Foreground #951D31 and Background #B42039.
Preset Shapes, Heart. Antialias checked. Make the heart 120 x 110.
Look at the list at the bottom of your screen to see the size.

Place the heart a little to your left on the canvas.

New Layer. Color: Foreground #B42039, Background #D8364D.
Make another heart, the same size. Place it on top of the other heart like this.
Use the Mover.

Or like this.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer Heart.

Now to the text.

New Layer. Color  #B42039 on both Fore- and Background.
Text tool.  Write your text and make these settings.

Keep it selected!

Effects, 3D, Cutout. Settings like this.

Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow, like this.

Deselect.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
Now you can try other colors also. Just remember, when you choose
color on the text, it must be a little darker than the upper heart.
When you take the Cutout, it has to be a little darker than the text
and when you take Drop shadow it must be a very, very light color.
If you think the text is a little blurry, take Effects, Sharpen once.
