Cat with ornament.

Look who's in the tree, playing with the ornament.

Get my Selections here and zip them up in your PSP Selections Folder.
You will also get the face, ornaments in three colors, a bow, some hearts and a branch.
Zip them up in your PSP image folder.

Start with a New Image, 270 x 330, transp, 16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk, cat_w_ornament, body.sel.
Flood Fill with color #C87F48. Selections, Float. Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Ears. Selections, Load from disk, cat_w_ornament, ears.sel.
Flood Fill with color #C87F48. Selections, Float.
Effects 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk, cat_w_ornament, head.sel.
Flood Fill with color #C87F48. Selections, Float.
Effects 3D, Cutout as before. Deselect.

Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer. Call the layer Face.
Place the face a little higher up on the head like this.

Get the ball-ornament of your choice. Look at the layers.
Copy and Paste it as a New Layer. Call it Ball.
Place the ball like this.

Get the bow. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer. Call it Bow.
Place the bow like this.

New Layer. Call it Paws. Selections, Load from disk, cat_w_ornament, paws.sel.
Flood Fill with color #C87F48. Selections, Float.
Effects 3D, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the hearts. Copy and Paste them as a New Layer. Call it Hearts.
Place them like this.

 Freehand Tool. Mark the part that you will delete.

Delete. Now it looks as if the band goes under the bow.

Get the branch and copy it several times. Use Deformation Tool to turn the branches. You can also take Image, Mirror on some. Put them together to your liking.
I put my branches like this.

Close all other layers except those branches. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Layers, Arrange, Send to bottom. Place them behind the head.

Go through your picture now. If you are satisfied, Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
and you are done.
