Cat in a basket.

This little kitten got so tired, so tired, waiting for Christmas.

Get my selections here. Zip them up in your PSP Selections folder.
You also have an apple, a bow, a candystick and a gingerbread for filling the basket.
The zip also includes a face, rim and handle. Zip them up in your PSP Image folder.
You will also have the filling for the basket. Zip it up in your PSP Pattern Folder.

Start with a New Image 350 x 350, transp, 16 mill.

New Layer. Call it Tail1. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, tail1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Cord1. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, cord1.sel.
Set Match Mode to None in your Tool Option box. That way you will fill all selections
with one click. Flood Fill with color #A88460. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the handle you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer. Call it Handle.
Drag this layer under Layer Cord in your Layer palette. Place the handle to fit the cord.

Stand on Layer Cord1. New Layer. Call it Tail2.
Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, tail2.sel. Flood Fill with color #F9E8CB. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Tail3. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, tail3.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as on Tail1. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Tail4. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, tail4.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as on Tail1. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, body.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Basket. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, basket.sel.
Set Foreground to color #6A4B30 and Background to Pattern in your Styles box.

Get lo_basketpattern. Flood Fill with your left mouse button.
Selection, Modify, Contract 1. Flood Fill with your right mouse button.
Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the rim you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.
Call the layer Rim. Place it on top of the basket.

New Layer. Call it Cord2. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, cord2.sel.
Set Match Mode to None in your Tool Option box. That way you will fill
all selections with one click. Flood Fill with color #A88460.
Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as on Cord1.

New Layer. Call it Ears. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, ears.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FBAE51. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Innerears. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, innerears.sel.
Flood Fill with color #FAEAD8. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as before. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Leg. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, leg.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Paw. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, paw.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #FAEAD8. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Toes. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, toes.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #AFA9A1. Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, head.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #FECA65. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

New Layer. Call it Chin. Selections, Load from disk, cat_in_basket, chin.sel.
Flood Fill with color  #FAEAD8. Selections, Float. Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.

Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste is as a New Layer. Call it Face.
Place the face like this.

Stand on layer Tail1. Retouch tool, Smudge, as below.

Smudge the tail with tiny strokes outwards.

Stand on Layer Tail2 and do the same.

Stand on Layer Tail3 and do the same.

Stand on Layer Tail4 and do the same.

Stand on Layer Body and do the same.

Stand on Layer Leg and do the same.

Stand on Layer Paw and do the same.

Stand on Layer Head and do the same.

Stand on Layer Chin and do the same.

Stand on Layer Head. Effects, 3D, Drop Shadow as below.

Now you have to get the bow.
Stand on Layer Cord1. Copy and Paste as New Layer.
Place it at the left side of the basket. Duplicate, in your Layer Palette.
Image, Mirror and put the bow on the right side of the basket.
Get the candystick, gingerbread and apple. Copy and paste as New Layers.
Place them to your liking.

When you have done that, go through your picture.
If you want to change anything, do so now. When you are satisfied,
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
