Calendar, diary.
A new year and new hopes. You can use my
calendar to whatever you like.
For examples Birthday greetings, New Year Cards.
If you like my flowers, I have included
them in this zip. Zip them up in your Image
folder.
Look in your Layer Palette for the different layers.
Start with a New Image, 400 x 400, transp,
16 mill. Fill the bottom layer with any color.
It is just to be able to see better. You will delete that layer later. Call it
Background.
New Layer
call it Box.
Foreground color #DAD9CE, Background color #F5F3E7. Preset Shapes, box.
Draw the box 120 x 155.
Image, Mirror. Effects,
Texture, Blinds as below.
New Layer Call it Sheet. Fore- and
Background, white color.
Preset Shapes, Rectangle. Make a rectangle 96 x 127. Place the frontsheet like I
did.
Effects, Noise, Add 5%, Random.
New Layer. Call it Metaltop. Preset Shapes,
Rectangle. Color #FAC260 on both Fore- and Background.
Make a rectangle 100 x 20. Effects, Texture Effects, Sculpture, Gold as below.
New Layer. Call it Bottom. Draw, Point to
point., width1. Antialias checked. Background color white.
Zoom the picture and draw around the lower part of the sheets like this.
Effects, Texture, Blinds as before but change to Horizontal.
This is what you will have now.
New Layer. Call it Number. Set Background
color to #C00000, close Foreground.
Text tool. Type the number 1, size 60. I used font Times New Roman. Place it in
the middle of the sheet.
New Layer. Call it Year. The same settings
as on Layer Number.
Text tool. Type the year 2004, size 18, the same font. Place it
under the number.
New Layer. Call it Month. The same settings
as on Layer Number.
Text tool. Type the month January, size 14, the same font. Place it above the
number.
Delete Layer Background. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Calendar.
That was the calendar. Now to the fun part. The decorating.
If you like my flowerarrangement at the top,
you can use my flowers included in the zip.
Copy and paste them as New Layers. Move them around to your liking.
If you want them in different colors, use Colors, Colorize.
You can use just anything for your background. Look at my suggestions.
