Let's make flower B.

Close Layer A. New Layer, Selections, Load from disk, Mechonopsis.

You have to get all selections on separate layers,
and give the layers the same names as the selections.

Let's do some shadings.

Stand on Layer b1. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#237FBF.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #7ABEEE,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b1. Keep it selected.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as below.

Smudge the colors nicely into eachother. It shall look a bit striped. Deselect.

Stand on Layer b2. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#3571A3.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #689ECC,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b2.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b3. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#2389D7.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #66ACE2,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b3.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b4. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#286FA6.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #5FA4D9,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b4.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b5. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#2D84C8.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #59A5DF,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b5.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b6. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#17719B.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #4BBEF3,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b6.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b7. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#7886BC.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #98A5D6,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b7.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Stand on Layer b8. Layers, View, Current only. Selections, Select all. Selections, Float.
New Layer. Airbrush 3. Put some color on the petals with color
#1771BD.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 6. New Layer. Make some lines with Paint Brush 1, color #3396E9,
against the centre of the flower. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer b8.
Retouch Tool, Smudge as before.
Deselect.

Layers, View all. Have a look, that all lines on the petals go towards the centre of the flower.
If you have to change anything do so now.

This is the flower right now.

To the edges.

If it is difficult to know what layer to work with, point with the cursor at a layer in your Layer Palette,
then a small picture will pop up and you can see where to work.

Stand on Layer brim1. Retouch tool, Smudge as below.

Zoom the picture to see better. Make tiny strokes against the centre of the flower.

Do the same with Layers brim2 and brim3. Close Layers Background and A.

Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer B.

 

This is what it looks like now.

Let's do the centre of the flower.

Copy and paste the centre you saved from flower A into your picture.
Turn it with Deformation Tool to your liking.

If you didn't save the centre you have to go to flower A for the tutorial.
You will find it at the bottom of that page.

Make sure the black Background and Layer A is closed.
Layers. Merge, Merge Visible. Call the layer B.
