Black cat.
Start with a New Image 300 x 300, transp.
16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Preset Shapes, Tear Drop. Fore- and Background black
color.
Antialias checked. Make the body 140 x 210.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Mark the lower part like this.
Delete. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Foot. Preset Shapes,
Tear Drop. Foreground color #808080 and Background black color.
Make the foot-part 28 x 47. Duplicate two times. On the second part: Image, Rotate 90º, right.
On the third part: Image, Rotate 90º, left.
Place the parts like this.
Close layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge
Visible. Call it Foot.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Mark the lower part
like this.
Delete. Deselect.
Airbrush2, black color. Paint on the gray
lines inside the foot.
You will only have a gray rim around the foot.
Duplicate and put the other foot in place beside the first one.
Close Layer Body. Layers Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Feet.
New Layer. Call it Head. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Fore- and Background black color.
Antialias checked. Make the head 75 x 85. Put it on top of the body.
Deformation Tool. Turn the head to your left a bit.
New Layer. Call it Ear. Preset Shapes,
Triangle. Fore- and Background black color.
Antialias checked. Make the ear 32 x 28. Put it on top of the head.
Deformation Tool. Turn the ear a little to your left.
Duplicate.
Deformation Tool. Turn the ear to your right. Put it in place.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Call it Nose. Preset Shapes, Arrow21.
Fore- and Background color #95798F. Make the nose 15 x 17. Put it in place.
New Layer. Call it Mouth. Preset Shapes, Heart4.
Foreground color #95798F. Background closed.
Make the mouth 60 x 61. Put it in place.
Make a small line, at the arrow. with Draw4.
Deformation Tool. Turn the mouth to fit the nose. Put them together like this.
Freehand Tool. Mark on the mouth what you will delete.
Delete. Deselect.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Tear Drop. Make
the drop 5 x 7. Duplicate.
Place them at the corners of the mouth. Turn them to fit with Deformation Tool.
Close Layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Mouth.
New Layer. Call it Eye. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. White color on both Fore-and Background. Make the eye 6 x 8.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Black color on both Fore-and Background. Make
the eye 4 x 4.
Place it on the white eye.
Airbrush1. White color. Make a dot on the upper part of the black eye.
Put the eye-parts like I did. Close Layers
Body and Mouth. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Eye.
Duplicate and put the eyes in place. Use Deformation Tool to turn them if you
like.
Stand on Layer Body. Magic Wand click
outside of the cat. Selections, Invert. Keep it selected.
New Layer. Airbrush 3, color #FFB7C8. Make some pink on the cheeks.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur6. Deselect.
Now you can move the different face parts to your liking. When you are satisfied,
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Call it Whiskers. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Color #C0C0C0 on Foreground. Background closed.
Make an ellipse 70 x 70. Freehand Tool. Mark what you will delete.
Delete. Deselect. Duplicate two times.
Use Deformation Tool to turn the whiskers and put them in place.
Close Layer Body. Layers, Merge, Merge
Visible. Call it Whiskers.
Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Put the wiskers in place on the other cheek.
Turn them with Deformation Tool if you like.
New Layer. Call it Tail. Airbrush15. Color black. Make the tail as you like it to be.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Cat. That was the cat.
I think the cat shall have something around his neck. How about a necklace with a fish hanging on it?
New Layer. Call it Band. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Foreground color #C0C0C0. Background closed.
Make an ellipse 50 x 75. Place it around the cats neck. Freehand Tool. Mark what
you will delete.
You will have to remove all that you can see on the head.
Delete. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Ring. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Foreground color #C0C0C0. Background closed.
Make a ring 8 x 12. Put it at the lower part of the band.
New Layer. Call it Fish. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Gradient, Linear Gradient.
Foreground color #75859D and Background color #812F7B. Make the oval 13 x
50.
New Layer. Call it Fen1. Preset Shapes,
Triangle. Solid color #75859D. Make it 7 x 14.
Drag this layer under Fish layer in your Layer Palette. Place the fen on top of
the back of the fish.
Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Put it on the belly of the fish. Use Deformation Tool
to turn it just a bit.
Duplicate and put the other fen a little further back on the belly.
New Layer. Call it Fen2. Preset Shapes,
Triangle. Solid color #75859D. Make it 9 x 15.
Put it at the end of the fish.
New Layer. Call it Head. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Solid, black color. Background closed. Make it 9 x 13.
Put it in place on the head of the fish. Make an eye with Airbrush2 also.
Layers Merge, Merge Visible and you are done.
