Bearframe.

This is a tutorial that you might like to
use on a childrens page.
Have a nice photo ready to insert in the frame.
This tutorial is made for Paint Shop Pro 7.
You also have to use Eye Candy in this tut.
I have made selections for you and you can get them here.
Zip them up in your PSP Selections folder.
Save often!
Start with a New Image 310 x 400, transp, 16 mill.
New layer. Call it Oval.
Selections, Load from Disk, oval.sel. Flood fill with color #F4D0B8. Deselect.

This is what you will have now.

Selections, Load from Disk, nose.sel. Flood fill with color black. Deselect.
Effects, Inner Bevel, Round.
New Layer. Call it Mouth.
Selections, Load from Disk, mouth.sel. Flood fill with color black.
You might use Airbrush 3. That is easier. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eye1. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Black color on both Fore- and Background.
Make a circle 11 x 11.
Effects, Inner Bevel, Round. Put the eye in place. Layers Duplicate.
Put the other eye in place.

New Layer. Call it Heel.
Selections, Load from Disk, heel.sel. Flood fill with color #F5D5C7. Deselect.
Now you have got all selections visible and
we are now going to add the Cutout.
Stand on Layer Oval. Selection Tool. Make a
rectangle around the oval.
Click inside it. Now you will have the oval selected.
Effects, Cutout as below.

Deselect.
Stand on Layer Arm1. Cutout as before, bud
change Opacity to 80 and Blur to 35.
Keep the arm selected. Eye Candy, Swirl as below.

Deselect.
Eye Candy, Jiggle as below.

Do the same with the other hand, head, feet
and ear.
If you like, you can take Swirl and Jiggle on the oval also.
It looks then as if the oval, is the bears body.
On the Chin layer, you do the same, but change the settings for the Cutout like this.

On the Heel Layer, use only the Cutout as
above, but change to color #F68A7C.
Duplicate the layer and put the heel in place on the other foot.
Now have a look at your picture. If you se
too much hair on any part,
use the Eraser and reduce the fur a little. As you can see on my foot, it looks
kind of "wild".

So I will erase some hair and in places
where there are missing fur,
I put in some more with the Airbrush. Use the Dropper to get the right nuance.
Stand on Layer Head. MagicWand. Click
inside your picture. Selections, Invert.
Keep it selected and New Layer. Airbrush 3, red color.
Make some red on both cheeks.

Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 8. Deselect.
Layers Merge, Merge Visible.
Now your bearframe is finished. Do you like
it?

Well, now you'll have to look for a nice picture to put in it.
