Do you want a little bear to decorate with?
I have made Selections for you. Get them
here and zip them up in your PSP, Selections folder.
The zip also includes a lo_button. Save it in your PSP-image folder.
Start with a New Image, 300 x 350, transp,
16 mill.
New Layer. Call it Body. Selections, Load from disk, bear_pothanger, body.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Ears. Selections, Load
from disk, ears1.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Ears2. Selections, Load
from disk, ears2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #CD9E58. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Ears3. Selections, Load
from disk, ears3.sel.
Flood Fill with color #94520F. Deselect.
Close layer Body. Layers. Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Ears.
New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load
from disk, head.sel.
Flood Fill with black color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Muzzle. Selections, Load
from disk, muzzle.sel.
Flood Fill with color #CD9E58. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eyes1. Selections, Load
from disk, eyes1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #A6ADB0. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eyes2. Selections, Load
from disk, eyes2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #7B4109. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Eyes3. Selections, Load
from disk, eyes3.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Deselect.
Close all other layers except these three
eyes-layers.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Eyes.
New Layer. Call it Nose. Selections, Load
from disk, nose.sel.
Flood Fill with color #5A5454. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Mouth. Foreground black color. Background closed.
Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Make an ellipse 40 x 60. Put it on top of the muzzle.
Deformation Tool. Turn it just a bit to your right, like this.
Duplicate. Deformation Tool. Turn it and put it in place, like this.
Close all other layers except the two mouth layers. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Mouth.
Stand on Layer Muzzle. Magic Wand. Click
outside the muzzle. Keep it selected and
stand on layer Mouth. Hit the Delete button. Now your mouth will fit perfectly.
Deselect.
This is what you will have now.
New Layer. Call it Arm. Selections, Load
from disk, arm.sel.
Flood Fill with color #676767. Selections, Modify, Contract by 1.
Flod Fill with black color Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Leg. Selections, Load
from disk, leg.sel.
Flood Fill with color #676767. Selections, Modify, Contract by 1.
Flod Fill with black color. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Foot. Selections, Load
from disk, foot.sel.
Flood Fill with color #CD9E58. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Heart. Selections, Load
from disk, heart.sel.
Flood Fill with color #AF0000. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Pocket. Selections, Load
from disk, pocket.sel.
Flood Fill with color #676767. Deselect.
Make all layers visible again. Now the bear will look like this.
Stand on Layer Muzzle. Selection Tool. Make
a rectangle around the muzzle. Click inside.
Keep it selected. New Layer. Call it Cheeks. Airbrush2, color #E80404.
Make a little red on the cheeks.
Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur 9.
Close all layers except this layer and layer Muzzle.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Muzzle.
Keep it still selected. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
Stand on Layer Foot.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the foot. Click inside.
Effects, 3D, Cutout. The same as before.
Stand on Layer Nose.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the nose. Click inside.
Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
Stand on Layer Heart.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the heart. Click inside.
Effects, 3D, Cutout as before, but change Blur to 12,5.
Stand on Layer Leg. Find your lo_button Image. Copy and paste as a New Layer. Place it on the leg.
New Layer. Paint Brush1, color #AC7B30. Paint the thread like this.
Close all other layers except this layer
and the button layer.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Button.
Duplicate and put the button on top of the arm.
Turn it a little with
Deformation Tool.
Effects, Sharpen once.
Finally, we will put a highlight on his
cheeks.
New Layer. Call it Cheeks. Selections, Load
from disk, cheeks.sel.
Flood Fill with color #E9CBA7. Deselect.
Layers Merge, Merge Visible and you are done!
Now you can use him in your Images.
I also made this bear in wood. He is now hanging from a pot.
