Little angel on the moon.
This little angel is keeping watch over you.
I have made Selections
for you to use. Get them
here and zip them up in your PSP, Selections folder.
I have included a silverglitter pattern and a lace pattern. Zip them up in your PSP Patterns
folder.
I have also included the face. Zip it up in your PSP Image Folder.
Save often!
Start with a New Image, 400 x 400, transp,
16 mill. Call it Background.
Flood fill the background with a dark color, just to be able to see better what
you are doing.
You will delete that layer later.
New Layer. Call it Moon. Selections, Load from disk, angelonmoon, moon.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Moonpattern. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, moonpattern.sel.
Change Match Mode in your Tool Options Palette,
to None.
That way you will fill the whole selection with just one click.
Flood Fill with color #DADBFE. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Moonrim. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, moonrim.sel.
Set your Style box to Pattern.
Flood Fill with the silverglitter pattern you got in the zip.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Ring. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, ring.sel.
Set your Style box to Solid and Flood Fill with color #DDDFFA.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as
below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Star. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, star.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before,
but increase Opacity to 70. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Starrim. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, starrim.sel.
Flood Fill with the silver pattern. Deselect.
This is what you will have so far.
Close Layer Background. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Moon.
Now to the little angel.
New Layer. Call it Wing. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, wing.sel.
Flood Fill with color #D4CFE8, twice. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Wingshadow. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, wingshadow.sel.
Flood Fill with color #C3BEDE. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Wingrim. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, wingrim.sel.
Set Styles to Pattern. Flood Fill with the silver pattern. Deselect.
Close Layers Background and Moon. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Wing.
New Layer. Call it Leg1. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, leg1.sel.
Set your Style box to Solid. Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Neck. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, neck.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as
before. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Dress. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, dress.sel.
Flood Fill with color #E6E7FC. Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as
below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Dresstop. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, dresstop.sel.
Set Styles to Pattern. Set scale to 40. Flood Fill with the lace pattern you got in the zip.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Dress-shadow. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, dresshadow.sel.
Set your Style box to Solid. Flood Fill with color #8F8CD4. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Dressrim. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, dressrim.sel.
Flood Fill with white color. Zoom the picture to see better. Make sure
Match Mode is set to None.
Then you will fill the whole selection at once. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Leg2. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, leg2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Toes. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, toes.sel.
Flood Fill with color #D39D79. Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Arm1. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, arm1.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Arm2. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, arm2.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as before.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Head. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, head.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F3D0B9.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
Get the face you got in the zip. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer. Call it Face. Place it like I did.
New Layer. Call it Hair. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, hair.sel.
Flood Fill with color #F8F8FB.
Selections, Float. Effects, 3D, Cutout as below.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Hairlines. Selections, Load from disk,
angelonmoon, hairlines.sel.
Flood Fill with color #E2E4FA. Effects, Blur, Gaussian Blur, set to 1.
Deselect.
New Layer. Call it Loop. Draw Tool, as below.
Background closed. Make a loop by making three clicks, like this.
Place it on the hair. Right click in your
Layer Palette and Duplicate. Image, Mirror.
Place the other loop beside the first one.
New Layer. Draw, Single line, width 3.
Background closed. Draw a small straight line.
Effects, Geometric, Wave as below.
Place the band at the two bows. Duplicate,
Image, Mirror and put the other band
beside the first band, just a little higher. If the bands are too long,
use selection Tool and cut them off a bit.
Close all layers except the two loops and
the two bands. Layers, Merge, Merge Visible. Call it Bow.
Duplicate. Image, Mirror. Put the bow on the other side of the head.
New Layer. Call it Sparkle. Use the Hood,
sparkle tube.
You have the URL on top of this page, to download.
Make some sparkles here and there. Just to make your Image glitter some more.
Have a look at your picture If there is
anything you will change, do so now.
When you are satisfied, delete Layer Background. Layers, Merge,
Merge Visible.
Now your bright little angel is finished.
