PINECONE SANTA.

In order to make this Cone-Santa, you have to get my Selections here.
Unzip the Selections, and save it in your PSP selections-folder.
Call it Pinecone.

New Image 225 x 400, transparent. Fill the Layer with black color.
So you can look at your picture with a background. Call it Background.
 Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it back. Go to your PSP selection-folder, find Pinecone and get back.sel.
Fill with black color. Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it outline. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get outline.sel.
Fill with # 211409. Use Airbrush 20. That is much easier. Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it scale1. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get scale1.sel.
Fill with  Gradient Foreground # A65C1A + Background # C88B5E.  Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it scale2. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get scale2.sel.
Fill with  # 965E48. Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it scale3. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get scale3.sel.
Fill with  # black. Close the Layer.

Layers, View all. Close the Background Layer. Merge Visible to the rest.
Call the Layer Cone.

New Layer. Call it arms. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get arms.sel.
Fill with   #FF4040.

New Layer. Put some black shadow on the armpiece.

Gaussian Blur 7.
New Layer. Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the arms. Click inside. Effects, cutout.

Merge Visible to those Layers + arms Layer. Call the Layer arms.

New Layer. Call it hands. Preset Shapes,

Make a ball 33 x 33. Keep Shift down, while you drag. Colour it with  #F8DDC2, Flood Fill, opacity 50.
Put the ball between the two arms. Drag the ball Layer underneath the arms Layer. Close all Layers.

Now letīs make the face.

New Layer. Call it Head. Preset Shapes, Ellipse, color #F5D7C7 on both Foreground and Background.
Make a circle 87 x 87.

New Layer. Preset Shapes, black on both Foreground and Background. Make a circle 9 x 9.
Effects, Inner bevel, Round. Put the eye in its place.

Duplicate that Layer and you have the other eye. Put it in place.

New Layer. Preset Shapes. Make a small circle 10 x 10,
with color # EEB283, on both Foreground and Background.
Selection Tool. Make a rectangle around the circle. Click inside it. Effects, Cutout. Color brown.

New Layer. Preset Shapes, Crescent

Make a small mouth. Deformation Tool. Turn it in the right position. Put it in place.

New Layer. Make two black eyebrows.

New Layer. Put some red color on  Santas Cheeks. Gaussian Blur 7.

Merge Visible those Layers. Call the Layer face.

He may look like this now.

New Layer. Call it hair. Make som hair with white color.

Eye Candy, Fur, Flowing.

You may have to drag the hairpeace up a bit. Duplicate, Mirror.
You can also take a little Smudge on the ends. Close the Layer.

New Layer. Call it cap. Go to your PSP selection-folder, get cap.sel.
Fill with  #FF4040.

New Layer. Make some black lines like this.

Gaussian Blur 8. Merge Visible, those two Layers. Call it cap. Close the Layer.

New Layer. Preset Shapes, #white on both Foreground and Background.
Make a circle 33 x33. Gaussian Blur 3. Duplicate. It makes the ball fluffier.
Merge Visible. Call it ball. Close the layer.

Now to the beard. Stand on Layer face.
New Layer. Make som white line on Santas chin, like this.

Eye Candy, fur. The same settings as on hair.

If you want whiter hair and beard. Go to Color adjust, Brightness 26. No Contrast.

Stand on background Layer. Delete.
Layers, View all. You shall now have them in this order.

If you close Layer cone, and Merge Visible the rest, you can use the cone to other things.
I think that would be rather smart.

Save.
 You are now ready!

You can vary your pinecone with a troll, if you like. I used Tube, Rope for his arms.
