This owl is made with Preset Shapes.
New Image, 250 x 250, transparent.
Remember to save often.
New layer. Call it Body. Preset Shapes,
Tear Drop, color # C38F5D
on both Fore- and Background. Make the Drop 260 x 335.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Cut a piece at the bottom of the owl.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Make a rectangle around the body. Click inside.
Effects, Cutout.


New layer. Call it Eye1. Preset Shapes,
Ellipse. Color #A86D18 on both Fore- and
Background.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Make a rectangle around
the Eye1. Click inside. Effects, Cutout.
Make an Ellipse 120 x 70. Put in in place.
Duplicate. Put in place.

New Layer.
Preset Shapes, Ellipse. Color # Black on both
Fore- and Background.
Make a Circle 22 x 22. Effects, Inner Bevel, Round. Put the eye in its place.
Duplicate. Put the other eye in its place. Merge Visible. Call it Body.

New Layer. Call it Beak. Preset Shapes,
Diamond 1. Color #E89718 on both Fore- and
Background.
Make the beak 50x65. Effects, Inner Bevel.

Selection Tool, Rectangle. Make a rectangle
around the Beak. Click inside. Effects, Cutout as before.
Put the beak in its place between the eyes.
Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Call it Hair. Preset Shapes, Volume
Control. Retain Style.

Draw 103 x 90.
Selection Tool. Mark the telephone. Delete.

Deformation Tool. Turn the hair and put it in place.

Duplicate the hair piece. Call it Ear1. Image, Flip. Put it in place.
Duplicate the Ear 1 Layer. Put the oyher ear in place.
New Layer. Preset Shapes. You shall only
use the question-mark. Delete the hands, umbrella
and the dot under the question-mark.

Put it on the ear. Make it a little longer
with Deformation Tool.
Duplicate and put it on
the other ear, like this.

Stand on Hair Layer. Duplicate. Put the
feathers in place.
Duplicate five more times and put the feathers as shown on picture.

Merge Visible. Call it Body.
New Layer. Preset Shapes, Moon 1.

Make the wing-feathers with this Shape, 40
x 70.
Deformation Tool. Turn it in position. Duplicate three more times.
Put the feathers under each other.

Close Body Layer. Merge Visible.
Duplicate. Mirror. Put the feathers in
place. Turn on Body Layer.
Merge Visible.
New Layer. Call it Foot1. Preset Shapes, Arrow 21, color #A06107.

Draw 50 x 60. Put it infront of the Body. Take Eraser and make the middle toe a bit rounded.

Effects, Inner Bevel. The same sattings as
Beak Layer.
Selection Tool, Rectangle. Make a rectangle around
the Foot1. Click inside. Effects, Cutout.
The same settings as you did on Body Layer.
Duplicate. Put the other foot in place. Merge Visible.
With different colors, the owl may look like this.
